I have noticed this twice now, and I thought I would do a write up - a quick search on duck duck go shows no one talking about it, but most of the top hits are not relevant. Specifically, I am running a mac studio with 96GB of ram using less than half of the ram. I noticed that running a dump of data from SQL server in a windows 11 VM brings all of the other VMs to a halt. I am sure I have done this on x86, but I don't recall this behavior. Is it something specific to apple silicon, parallels, or did I just not notice it before.
